Birthday Girl

how time flies!
my dear sweet, smart, and lovely little girl turned 8 today. 
it only seems like yesterday when i first saw your chubby cheeks 
and look at you now.
every year on her birthday, i always intend to give her what she deserves
because she's been a very well behaved, funny pretty girl
who we love so much. 
soon she will be all grown up and won't need me as much.

because she has not had a "real" party since she was small.
last time we gave her one was when she was 4 years old and only a few came.
i hope i can plan it better next time.

i guess i have been thinking too much (as always of course). you can tell by the entries of my posts. these are things that come to mind when i need to let out and let go, and it's nice to have this place where i can do that.  i' wonder if it has anything to do with my hormones. when i am not in front of my laptop, most times, everything sounds so much more organized and better in my head, but the minute i start typing it i get lost for words and ideas for no reason.

and today is just one of them.

fringebag is the latest trend in Philippine street fashion as far as i know,
but it was actually a 2010 mid-year trend in the US.
when i saw an acquaintance wearing this fringebag and the whole get up
i instantly became jealous and wanted to buy and wear one over my shoulder asap
because i was (forever) contemplating buying and wearing this boho fringe style.

but i also always like the classic ones too.

just because

i have absolutely no motivation to get out of bed, but i did because i had to. my youngest daughter was hot last night so i decided to bring her to a doctor because everyone in the house either got sick, or is sick, except me.

i love how these old wood designs are incorporated to contemporary designs. 

it is such a very awesome concept and trend for 2011- mixing old and new.

 the photo above is one of my favorite. it looks old yet sophisticated.

 

it's a dream of mine to be able to decorate my own house 

and fully use what's left of my creativity.

i realized i should have taken an interior design course instead of advertising.

are one of those actresses i don't find particularly pretty enough
and yet they have been my top favorites.
i liked kristen dunst from the crazy beautiful movie.
she has this crazy curves and bikini body that i envy.
and i love reese for her sense of daily style.

Stuck

when my mind wanders I want it to go to a good place. I work during the day and have no time to blog, only at night or on weekends. I feel most comfortable and happy here writing my feelings away or browsing inspirations. It gives me freedom. Though I find it difficult lately to organize my thoughts and what I would want to share when different ideas come all at the same time. It feels overwhelming sometimes. I don't know if you ever felt that - feeling kind of stuck while inspirations are piling up.

Hello 2011!

A New Year. A fresh start. A chance to organize. Another year older and hopefully smarter. Another twelve long months of new things. An opportunity yet again! A year to cherish, cuddle and laugh. A year to kiss sadness goodbye. A chance to be loved.  And most of all, A clean slate. Farewell 2010.

one of my fondest childhood memories was sleeping beside my puppy sheila.
whenever there are new puppies at home i would always get the shy one 
from the bunch of newborn pups before my mom gets rid of them.
i bring her to my bed.
i love the smell of their puppy breath,
the feel of their cute little bodies and their tiny waggly tails.
of course, since i let them sleep beside me they pee on my bed too.
ye i know it's gross!
 that's why my mom hates having puppies inside our house
because they poop and pee everywhere. 
 but how can you resist that puppy look?
they are so cute!

i am an of Alexis Bleidel ever since i saw her on  Gilmore Girls (2000)

she  portrayed the role of this sweet, fast-talking, sarcastically witty teenager

that made the show popular.

she is stunningly beautiful and has the most amazing gorgeous blue eyes i have ever seen.

I think she would have made a perfect "Bella" for the Twilight series, 

perhaps more convincing than Kristen Stewart.

and i love that she has a great taste for fashion too. 

have you ever felt this way...

it's hard to put into words, but i guess
